In 2012 Wendy conducted in-depth research on succession planning for the Corporate Research Forum. She is author of many reports and articles, including (with Charles Jackson) Planning your Career (published by Hodder)..

Wendy is a Principal Associate at the Institute for Employment Studies (where she was formerly an Associate Director), a Visiting Professor at Kingston University, an Associate of Roffey Park Institute and a Fellow of the National Institute for Career Education and Guidance.
